CETRAT OI-AMBYER PROCESSES 

 

 

1.- Thermochemical Desorption GII: FOR OBDC AND OIL BASED MUDS TREATMENT  

 

Processes involving: Peptization, desorption, vapored and fractioned distillation. Stepwise condensation occurs in this process promotes the separation of families of hydrocarbons and thus subsequent processes through high value is obtained as: 

 

-Alternatives fuels. 

-Low BTEX solvents. 

- Light aromatic-containing fractions solvents. 

 

Capacity: 144,000 tons per year ( 2 units GII:  6,000 ton / month each one) 

 

 

2.- PEB (PYROLYSIS EMULSION BREAKING) 

 

Application:  Muds and oil emulsions treatment with a typical water content greater than 40% solids w <= 20%. 

 

Processes involving: Modification of surface tension, phase separation and evaporation / condensation of light solvents. 

 

The products obtained are: 

• Alternative Fuels. Predominant product. 

• Light solvents. Aromatic group 

  (Thinners types, turpentine). 

 

Capacity: 10,000 tons / year (01 unit PEB). 

 

 

3.-TVH (WET TREATMENT) 

 

APPLICATION: OIL BASE MUDS TREATMENT OR WORN USED OB DRILLING FLUIDS. 

 

Processes involving: Breaking strengths emulsions, Physical Chemistry of clays, phase separation. Products obtained: 

 

• Alternative Fuels. Major product with similar or better fuel oil properties. 

• LOW BTEX Solvents and high Aniline points. Whose main composition are linear and paranínfic hydrocarbons. These can be obtained through a subsequent physical chemical process. 

 

Capacity: 15,000 tons / year (01 unit TVH). 

 

 

4. REFORMULATION AND FILTERING OILS PLANT

 

Process involving: Hydrocarbon Chemistry, absorption, and filtration. 

 

Product: 

 

High value and performance oils and organic bases of low toxicity by low BTEX contents with  flash point greater than 211 ° F and high aniline points. 

 

 

5.- ALTERNATE FUELS PRODUCTION FOR OWN CONSUMPTION AND SELLING EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS. 

 

 

6.-WATER MUDS AND WBDC  MECHANICAL TREATMENT

 

Processes: Demulsification, gravimetric solids separation, stabilization and moisture reduction. 

 

 

7.- WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

 

Processes involving: demulsification. Coagulation-Flocculation, Sedimentation, Chemical Oxidation, Filtration and Disinfection. 

 

Products: treated for landscape irrigation and dust control water. 

 

Capacity: 80 m3 / d (2500 m3 / month).
